- Describe the assessment and stabilization of pediatric trauma patients in preparation for transport
- Discuss factors influencing method and mode of patient transport between hospitals
- Prepare the equipment needed for safe transfer
- Recognize the potential problems in these patients during transport
- Understand the importance of communication with the personnel at the receiving hospital and with the family
