Management of Head Injury

• Ensure patent airway, adequate breathing and effective circulation (ABCs)
• Restore normal (age-appropriate) BP
• Monitor and correct problems with oxygenation, with goal for SpO₂ > 98%
• Observe for signs of neurologic deterioration - localizing signs, pupils, seizures
• Monitor ICP when indicated and treat raised ICP
