Ongoing Assessment During Transport
Adequacy of airway, oxygenation, ventilation and perfusion (resuscitation)
Signs of ongoing occult blood loss such as tachycardia, hypotension, decreased urine output, distending abdomen
Changes in level of consciousness as possibile indications of hypoxia, shock or intracranial injury
Temperature maintenance should be prioritized and can be achieved using space blankets, warm blankets, warm IV fluids, forced air warmers such as Bair Hugger
