- Describe how to perform a neurologic assessment using:
- Glasgow Coma Scale
- AVPU Pediatric Response Scale
- Understand the physiologic principles governing intracranial pressure (ICP) and cerebral perfusion pressure (CPP)
- Assess for signs of raised ICP or herniation syndrome
- State the methods of lowering raised ICP
- Recognize signs of potential child abuse
